This is one event you do not want to miss! This event is limited to the first 40 SAE members that sign up. You must be a member for this one! We'll be driving from 5pm to 9pm, so please arrive at the front gate of TRC by 4:15pm, so we can be all ready to go at five! TRC Inc. Fun Driver Training -- Vehicle Control Exercises Include: * Slalom * Threshold Braking -- Provides drivers with practice decelerating at tire limits. Compares ABS to non-ABS and demonstrates tire lock-up. * Skid Control-- Employs use of Skid Car System. Provides participants an understanding of vehicle reactions at the limit. * Braking/Turning -- Simulates two-lane highway with obstacles. Drivers feel evasive/handling capability of a vehicle when combined with braking and turning. * Kart Driving -- We provide a go-cart that many enjoy as a timed event against their colleagues. The go-kart is fun, but can be dirty and some debris may fly up, so wear long pants (required!). Drivers may bring their own helmets if they prefer, but TRC does provide them as well. TRC will provide refreshments throughout the afternoon. Please register soon! We'll be ordering pizza from Pop's Pizza for dinner.
